May 2015 - Lilly's Birthday

SIX years old? Already!?!?!?

Lilly started out her day with a yummy orange roll breakfast.

The presents she got from us included: a Disney Princess nightgown, a hot pink velour hoodie, a Disney Princess coloring kit w/ markers and colored pencils, a travel sized Spirograph, glitter gel pens, bead set to make jewelry, Disney Princess Candyland game, and Candyland lipgloss! She was overjoyed with all of the goodness!!!

I got to volunteer in her classroom this morning and her teacher, Mrs. Wright, had made this fun birthday crown for Lilly to wear!

Grandma came over this afternoon to take Lilly shopping for a birthday balloon!

Later this afternoon I took Lilly to Build-A-Bear at the Fashion Place Mall. She picked out this darling rainbow rabbit (and named her "Rainbow" of course!). She added a few cool features to her rabbit to make it smell like cotton candy and a button inside it's paw that says "I love you!" when you press it. She had so much fun making her bunny special!

Lilly picked to go to Arctic Circle for dinner tonight as a family. She enjoyed a cheeseburger kids meal and a Sour Patch Kid shake! When we got back home, she spent the rest of the evening playing with all of her things!

The next day Great-Aunt Rochelle came over with a surprise for Lilly. Rochelle had fixed up another bike for Lilly to ride! It's a bit too big at this point, but it will be perfect in another year of two!

It was also the day of her birthday party with her friends!

Lilly chose a "Frozen" theme to her party...so I made her a 4 layer cake with an ice-castle and characters from the movie!

Daddy was so good to help with the party! He makes everything so fun!

My sweet girl!!!

As part of the party activities, I did some face painting on the girls (to make them look like "ice princesses")!!!! I let Lilly go first, and then after that all of the other girls wanted theirs to look just like Lilly!

We had some "Frozen" karaoke too!

Grace, Allie, Lilly, and Gracie were having a blast singing together!

We played "Pin the Nose of Olaf" game too.

Here's a group shot of Lilly's friends (minus Eden who came late): Gracie Milne, Grace Stephenson, Lilly, Allie Gilmore, Lily Williams, and Krystal Bunker.

The girls also liked playing a "Cake Walk" type game with the "Frozen" characters.

The "Frozen" cake and blue Kool-Aid was a bit hit!

Lilly's friends spoiled her with some great presents too. The biggest surprise was a Barbie who came with a dog that could poop! The girls thought it was absolutely fascinating and played with it for a while until their parents came to pick them up! So funny!

Happy Birthday Lilly girl!!!!
