Day Out With Thomas!

So, if you know Sam, you know he LOVES Thomas (the train)!! And Thomas just so happens to come to Heber every year to visit....so guess where we went yesterday??? Yes, we went to see Thomas for the third year in a row! This year Tyler was old enough to go too, so that was fun. The great thing about this Thomas event is that Sam could really care less about actually riding the big train (the Heber Creeper turned into Thomas the Tank Engine for the weekend)....so we don't even bother buying the crazy expensive tickets! Instead, we just let him go wherever he wants to go and check out the fun activities in the different tents set up. His favorite every year is the tent where they have train tables set up for the kids to play with. Sam and Tyler stayed at this tent for over an hour yesterday! (Matt and I think they should put a sign up on this tent saying "Tantrum Tent", because all of the kids FLIP OUT when their parents tell them that it is time to leave, or go ride the train, or whatever! Crazy!) They have other fun stuff to see including a little petting zoo, a tent with a Thomas video playing, a magician, pictures with Sir Topham Hatt, temporary Thomas tatoos, etc.! After we have had enough Thomas for the day, we have a tradition of going to lunch at the Dairy Keen in Heber. It was one happening place yesterday, with all of the hungry families who had their fair share of Thomas for the day too! It was a fun day and I just get a kick watching the boys' faces as they play and see the big Thomas! I can't wait 'till next year!!! :)
