We have had a lovely Spring Break. Although the boys started to get on each other's nerves at times, they have (for the most part) been great little playmates. We were a little sad not to be able to go down to St. George this year. We used to stay at my Grandma Lola's condo in Ivins, but she sold it (which was great for her, sad for us) a few months ago. So we made the best out of our "Stay-cation" this year. For documentation sake, I thought I would list some of the fun that we have had over the last week...(especially since I forgot to take the camera to most of it):
- We went on an adventure to the mall to ride the train and play in the dinosaur land.
- We went to see "Tangled" at the dollar movies with Grandma. It was Lilly's first time going to a "real" movie....she was ok for the first 20-30 minutes, and then got very wiggly and restless. It was a great movie though, at least the parts that I got to see when Grandma had a turn holding Lilly!
- Matt took a day off and we took the kids to Jungle Jim's and to lunch. We had a lazy afternoon and then Matt worked with our new handyman friend, Mr. Fiori, to put in a new garage door opener.
- We went to our favorite playground with my sis-in-law Mary Ann and her two girls, Jenna and Miranda. The kids had fun playing tag, but when they wanted the moms to play too I realized that I probably looked super goofy running around with my big belly hanging out.
- Grandma Deb treated us to a morning of bowling (see pictures below) and lunch at McDonalds. My sis-in-law Jaymie and her kids, McKaleigh, Colton, and Alex came too. Tyler was the big winner and was very excited about that.
- We went on plenty of walks around the neighborhood and enjoyed some warmer weather.
- We had a play date with my friend Emily and her one-year-old little boy, Allister, who is adorable! The boys had fun trying to entertain him and Lilly thought it was great to have someone her size at our house.
- We did a lot of coloring and painting (also see pictures below).

Grandma and Lilly were the best cheerleaders for all of the bowlers! Lilly would clap after everyone had their turn. Thanks to Grandma Deb for spoiling us with so much fun this week!

We love using the ramp and the bumpers....it makes it so much more fun for the boys to actually get pins down every turn!

A great week! It would have been extra nice if there had been better weather.
Such fun! Wish we had been there. Auntie Lynn
I was so sad we weren't able to come with you guys to the Park....next time for sure. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. Thanks for the ideas we may steal a few since the kids are now off track for the next 4 weeks. So if Sam is off anytime soon give me a call.
